Balance, Structure, Play / Working with Poles 3

Three Sensory Awareness classes with a focus on work with poles.

Poles are an effective and versatile tool, inviting deep structural work, explorations with balance, and play. One of the goals for these three classes is to inspire you to integrate poles into your daily life practice.

I use poles almost every day. Just a few minutes of lying on poles can help me to feel newly aligned and refreshed after too much work at the computer. Another few minutes of subtle balancing explorations – or just plain play – rekindles a sense of balance, joy and creativity.

Three Mondays: Jan. 19, 26, Feb. 2

Times: 1:15 to 2:30pm Eastern US | 10:15am Pacific Time | 7:15 pm Central Europe | 6:15pm UK

Zoom: You will receive the zoom link in time before classes begin.

Cost: Sliding scale: $45 - $75 for the series.

The three classes build a unit. Because the sessions build on one another you can only book the whole series. But they will be recorded. If you have to miss one you can still work with the recordings.

This is a special class series and I want to make it accessible to as many people as possible. So, though I encourage live participation, you can also register if you can only work with the recordings.

To register, go to the first date: Working with Poles

Poles have been used in Sensory Awareness since its beginnings over a century ago. The photo is from Charlotte Selver’s studio in Leipzig, early 1930s.
